Chris' bio: What an honor to be elected to the League!

I?ve had my foot in the door of the superhero world for my entire life, the first film I?d ever seen being Tim Burton?s Batman in 1989 when I was about a year and a half old. It was that film that got me into one character, then the DC Animated Universe, which got me into all DC characters. Then, when Batman Begins came out in 2005, I needed more darkness in my life. So, to the Comics Place I went, and signed up for all the Bat-books. Then, Superman. Then, Green Lantern. Then?ah you get my point. I lobbied to work here for a year before it came to fruition, and I couldn?t be happier!

I?m working on my knowledge for Marvel (although I?m not their biggest fan) and various independent publishers so that I can help customers a little more. When I?m not at the Place or working Monitor Duty at the Watchtower, I?m working at an Ice Cream shop in Lynden, or studying for my classes at Whatcom Community College. I always enjoy talking comics, and look forward to my tenure as an employee of The Comics Place.
