Neill
The rain feels like bullets bouncing off my shoulders through the rusted grates of the fire escape and onto the city streets below. The thought of shells and empty cartridges jolts me from my thoughts; thoughts filled with her blank face, the smell of lilacs, and a voice that could stop a freight train dead on the tracks
"One day, you will come for me."
That's another story, for later. Right now, I'll tell you want you want to hear
seeing how you're holding a Desert Eagle to my head. My name is Neill McLaughlin and I work for The Comics Place. I am a 25 years old student of Graphic Design at Whatcom Community College. When I grow up I want to make comic books and films. If I could be any superhero it would be Spider-Man because
"With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility."
I also enjoy long walks on the beach, little kitties, and kicking your

Oh!
NICE ONE!
you didn't just CRACK my head open! Better luck NEXT time! ANYWAY
AS I WAS SAYING! I ENJOY COMICS, of all shapes and sizes! Be it Capes and Cowls, Science, Horror, Action/Adventure, Crime, or even your normal run-of-the-mill-radioactive cockroaches-controlled by an ancient, newly resurrected Egyptian insect god-trying to take over Southern California-storyline; IF IT'S WELL WRITTEN THEN IT'S WORTH READING. I think DC keeps the noir and grit of storytelling constant throughout their lines, while Marvel relies more on imagination and social commentary. I ALSO like Image, Dark Horse, WildStorm, etc. If it's a GOOD comic, it does not matter WHERE it comes from. You catch my drift?
THWACK!
KNOCK IT OFF! You're the one interested in what I've got to say; SO, HEAR ME OUT!
